[Giovanni is too busy lugging around an unconscious Eald'narche to do much more than get the communicator on and recording his voice.]

Maria, I could use your help. There is something wrong with Eald'narche. He is fine but... I need you to look after him.

Gohl. Everyone in Gohl. I want you to come home immediately if you are not already. Meet in the main foyer of the apartments. We have something to discuss.

There is something else going on... be careful of..jellyfish. They seem to be able to get inside without trouble. [Damnit, this is annoying!] They might be invulnerable to attacks.

Everyone else: be careful. If you need assistance or a safe place to stay, let me or someone from Gohl know. We will help out.

[He tries to click the device off but it doesn't quite happen. So you get a lot of extraneous noise from here on out.

Giovanni carries Eald into the foyer area of Gohl, calling out for his wife along the way. He sets up a small place to set Eald after some juggling of things--he brings down a blanket or two after setting Eald down and lays them out, re-laying Eald down on top of them afterward. Then he waits, keeping an anxious eye out for these new creatures without any way to know that, for starters, he cannot see them.]

[In response to this. Giovanni may be being overly cautious but at least he's doing something about it quickly. Gohl, get your butt over here.]

Jellyfish?

[ Well, it's a good thing Astro never strays too far from Gohl. ~~Lucy would probably have a cow if he did.~~ So, he'll just be heading right into the foyer, favoring a bandaged arm but otherwise moving swiftly. ]

I have not been seeing fish.

That is what Eald'narche described them as. [He confirms as Astro enters. He eyes the bandage but can tell it isn't from the past hour or so at the least and promptly ignores it.] I did not see one still in his room, however, so that is all I have to go by.

Neither have I. But that does little to explain what happened to Eald'narche.

I have not been seeing anysing. Vat is going on?

[ It isn't even a real bandage, anyway. It's just put on there to cover up the tear in his skin, because he'd rather not walk around exposing a bunch of wires and stuff. ]

I haven't seen any either. I think I saw some other people on the network talking about them though. D'you know what's going on?

[ Worried robot kid is worried. :c ]

I'm not entirely sure. But I plan on getting to the bottom of it.

...Ealdy? What happened to him?! I know he was complaining about a headache... [But she cut off the transmission too quickly to know he suddenly fell into a deep sleep full of nightmares.]

Yes, and then he passed out. He's healthy otherwise just...

He also mentioned the jellyfish, but I don't see them around here. Are they only around Gohl?

I am not certain. I have not seen any myself.

It could be that a select number of people are affected by whatever is happening.

No. And I doubt the scientists will enlighten us anytime soon but I wouldn't be surprised if this has something to do with them. Or that they, at the least, know what is going on.

[That leaves a sour taste in his mouth.]

I want everyone in sight and safe. If they invade Gohl we'll simply move--that will be easier to accomplish if everyone is in one spot. [He shakes his head.] Hopefully it won't come to that. And I don't know how long it'll last but...

[Geez, why is he saying this to the kid. Never mind. He trails off and turns his attention back to the unconscious Eald'narche.]

Makes the situation no less dangerous.

Where would we go, though? Is there some place nearby?

[ This doesn't sound too good. Astro looks over at Eald'narche helplessly. He has to help, according to the rules he has to. But what can he do? None of this makes sense, and he's hardly been here for long... ]

[ Well, no other way to find out than to ask. ]

...is there anything I can do to help, sir?

I'll see what else I can find out about it.

There are a few places. [Though how clean and safe they are is up for question. But they could go to them without much hassle and use them temporarily.

He glances back at Astro.] You can help me keep watch for now.

Just be careful.

At least we've got somewhere to go...

[ Oh good. So he CAN help! It's not much but at least it's a start. ] Sounds good to me.

[ Well, you said Gohl. So Petruccio is going to come on downstairs, too. He looks well-rested, at least, but still quite nervous.

He's acting skittish as always, keeping an eye out for...fish? Jellyfish. In a house. It's odd, but that's what he was told to do, so he's not questioning it. ]

Jellyfish?

[What are those? But yes, he's on his way. Someone was most likely at Latimir, his new favorite place to be. So eventually have your 'eldest' running in looking confused at the sight of Eald and his father as they are.]

What happened? What is happening, papa? [His father had mentioned attacks, so... there were things attacking them? He'd seen nothing on the way, which was nice really. No fish of any sort. Though he didn't expect them since they would be in the water after all.]

Eald'nar-- Did something happen to him?

... I'm coming. I haven't seen any of these jellyfish you're talking about though.

[ And with that she's already moving to the meeting spot. ]

[Giovanni hasn't seen any himself (and isn't likely to any time soon either) but that's what he's looking for. Because Eald does not exaggerate these sorts of things. At least not anymore.

He spots Petruccio as he enters from the stairwell and though he wants to smile or reassure his son, he can manage neither gesture in the state is he is at the moment. Instead, he feels sadness for the loss of this and glances back down at Eald'narche's form, where he's taken up a sort of guardian position as he keeps an eye on the room.]

He reported being stung by a jellyfish and then passed out. I cannot wake him no matter what I do.

[He glances down at Eald and back up at his eldest son again.]

I am not entirely certain other than that, but it is a situation I am not taking lightly.

I will.

[Maria didn't bother to respond back on the communicator, knowing full well that her husband was already in Gohl with Eald in tow. She rushed down the stairs towards the foyer to catch in time a glimpse of Giovanni before he disappeared into the adjacent room with the young man in his arms.

Despite his words of reassurance, Maria felt a cold dread run up her spine.]

What's happened to Eald'narche?

[He'll get down on one knee beside Eald, worried, but is soothed somewhat by seeing that he still breathes. Still, not being able to wake him? What did these.. fish things do to cause that?]

Do we know what these things look like? What... exactly is a jellyfish? [A fish obviously, but that tells little besides that.]

He passed out and cannot be awakened. I'm not sure how bad it is other than that.

[He shakes his head in mild frustration.]

He mentioned the jellyfish. I have not seen any myself either.

It doesn't actually look like a fish. Jelly, I can see...

[He grabs for his communicator and searches through old video posts for one in particular. It was through this device that he had learned about them first himself. He shows Federico a paused image of a jellyfish.]

That is what they look like specifically.

[Giovanni finished laying him out and arranging his limbs carefully before he glanced back at Maria.]

He was hit by some creature. He complained of a headache and then blacked out. I cannot wake him.

Did you see the creature?

[She spoke over her shoulder as she sat next to Eald's motionless body. Her hand was pressed against his forehead before she lowered it against his cheek, the back of her curled fingers rubbing gently.]

Dio Mio... what of Federico and Ezio? Are they safe?

[He'll move close to his father, and bring his own hand up to hold one side of the communicator as he takes in the visual of this jellyfish thing. It was... rather simple yet amazing looking at the same time.]

Such a strange thing... are these monsters from Discedo?

[He'll look to his father now, pretty sure that the jellyfish image will not be forgotten easily. Strange little fishy thing. Got it. He'd keep an eye out for them.]

Well, that in itself doesn't sound rather good..

I've seen more people talking about fish, but I haven't seen any around at all. It's strange, to say the least.

I do not think they are just from Discedo. The one seen here was taken from the water--it is a fish in that respect. But... whatever Eald saw...it could not have been entirely the same. But it is the description he gave; probably the easiest to give at the time.

So appearance wise that is what these creatures are... But what they truly are... I do not know.

[Giovanni inched slowly away from the prone body; it wasn't his purview to really see over Eald'narche now that Maria was here. She could do a much better job than he ever could.]

They are safe as far as I know. On their way.

I know. What could be affecting only some of the people and not all.

[And with that comes a revelation.]

Could it be somehow linked to the last occurrences? And how exactly...

You mean the shocks? I talked about it with someone who theorized that only people who were chipped were feeling them--

[ Oh, another revelation here. ]

... Do you still have your chip in?

[He'll worry at his lip while his father talks, glancing at Eald. Sighing a little through his nose, his eyes go back to Giovanni.]

I hope they a truly nothing else. They are bad enough having done this! [He waves to poor Eald.]

Is there anything I can do to help? Or would you have me watch out for more of these strange fish?
