It seems I'm always away from home over the holidays. Does time pass back home while we are away? I cannot fathom how that would work.

Easter was...buono. I am glad it was celebrated by such a commensurable amount of people.

...

Where are you Ezio?

Hime- ...I mean, my friend used to help in the garden, so she's got that. I'll keep a look out. Do you know where I could find a weapon?

...I'm Utena, by the way.

What sort of weapon are you looking for?

Giovanni Auditore da Firenze. My pleasure to meet you, Signorina Utena.

A sword. The one I had... [...is in my chest?] I didn't arrive with it.

It's nice to meet you, Giovanni. -Oh, is that Italian?

I'll check the inventory (http://community.livejournal.com/playmyace/10901.html). You might have to ask around for something of quality and trade valuables for what you want. Weapons are running a bit scarce . I...personally as a swordsman, I know it might be hard for you to find a person willing to part from any blade they possess.

It is.

Thank you. You're a swordsman too? I can understand not wanting to do that. I can probably find something else. If anyone has a kendo sword - a wooden one - I'd be fine with that too. I just want to be able to keep people safe.

Do you know Ezio, then?

One of those can be easily made here. There are plenty of miscellaneous supplies for things like that. If there is not already one here lying around--which I think there is, actually...somewhere--then I can procure a fine piece of wood and have one made for you. If you like to stop by the inventory in the high school tomorrow we can discuss the matter further.

[He stifles a laugh.] Ahehn--I would hope so. He is my son after all.

[identity profile] princelyrose.livejournal.com 2010-04-11 08:07 pm (UTC)(link)
Really? You can? [She's both surprised and elated.] Thank you so much. I'll see you tomorrow at the inventory.

He's... You're his father? [He had spoken about his father, how happy he was to see him, but that there were some complications about going back home.] He's nice.

You're quite welcome, signorina.

I am glad to hear that; a father always hopes to hear they have raised their child to proper heights.

I'm glad you two get to be together, even in a place like this. I think it'd be lonely here otherwise.

voice;

[That's not the sort of tone she was expecting.]

...Giovanni?

[identity profile] hatshatshats.livejournal.com 2010-04-11 08:28 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh! I understand now... I didn't realize you were speaking another language.

[identity profile] betrayedblade.livejournal.com 2010-04-11 08:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Sì, my native tongue. I slip back into it sometimes.

voice;

[identity profile] betrayedblade.livejournal.com 2010-04-11 08:31 pm (UTC)(link)
Hmm?

It is nice to be with him here. Yes.

[identity profile] hatshatshats.livejournal.com 2010-04-11 10:16 pm (UTC)(link)
That makes a lot of sense then! E-even though it was only one word, it sounded very pretty.

[identity profile] betrayedblade.livejournal.com 2010-04-11 10:40 pm (UTC)(link)
Ah--grazie. Thank you.

[identity profile] hatshatshats.livejournal.com 2010-04-11 10:44 pm (UTC)(link)
You're welcome... um! I didn't get your name, I'm sorry!

[identity profile] betrayedblade.livejournal.com 2010-04-11 10:55 pm (UTC)(link)
My name is Giovanni Auditore, little signorina. Nice to meet you--

[identity profile] hatshatshats.livejournal.com 2010-04-11 11:01 pm (UTC)(link)
It's very nice to meet you, Auditore-san! My name is Hanato Kobato.

[identity profile] betrayedblade.livejournal.com 2010-04-11 11:10 pm (UTC)(link)
Hanato. My pleasure, Signorina Hanato.

[identity profile] hatshatshats.livejournal.com 2010-04-11 11:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Signorina...

That sounds so pretty! It really does sound like a lovely language.

[identity profile] betrayedblade.livejournal.com 2010-04-11 11:37 pm (UTC)(link)
Questo è perché è una lingua molto piacevole, bella signorina.

[identity profile] hatshatshats.livejournal.com 2010-04-11 11:41 pm (UTC)(link)
[She has no idea what that means, so...] Ah...

Even though I can't understand it, it sounds very nice!

[identity profile] betrayedblade.livejournal.com 2010-04-11 11:50 pm (UTC)(link)
[He chuckles.] Grazie mille, bella. Perhaps I'll teach you a bit sometime.

[identity profile] hatshatshats.livejournal.com 2010-04-12 12:06 am (UTC)(link)
Re-really? I would like that a lot!
