It seems I'm always away from home over the holidays. Does time pass back home while we are away? I cannot fathom how that would work.

Easter was...buono. I am glad it was celebrated by such a commensurable amount of people.

...

Where are you Ezio?

That's not right. It's cowardly and cruel, to use people for their own game.

No one here is likely to object with you on that point.

There is little anyone can do about it however.

We still have to try. Oh well...we'll have to make do until we find any sort of opportunity.

Don't think we're not all waiting.

I don't. But I don't know how to help.

Our biggest concern until the opportunity arises is simply surviving. Helping with that in any way possible takes top priority, wouldn't you think?

Yeah. I've already told Prydain I'd take watch over Gohl during the day. I need to find something else to help with.

Perhaps I will see you on occasion. As for more--supply runs, hunting, helping the teachers, helping the garden. There are plenty of things to watch out for volunteer work.

Hime- ...I mean, my friend used to help in the garden, so she's got that. I'll keep a look out. Do you know where I could find a weapon?

...I'm Utena, by the way.

What sort of weapon are you looking for?

Giovanni Auditore da Firenze. My pleasure to meet you, Signorina Utena.

A sword. The one I had... [...is in my chest?] I didn't arrive with it.

It's nice to meet you, Giovanni. -Oh, is that Italian?

I'll check the inventory (http://community.livejournal.com/playmyace/10901.html). You might have to ask around for something of quality and trade valuables for what you want. Weapons are running a bit scarce . I...personally as a swordsman, I know it might be hard for you to find a person willing to part from any blade they possess.

It is.

Thank you. You're a swordsman too? I can understand not wanting to do that. I can probably find something else. If anyone has a kendo sword - a wooden one - I'd be fine with that too. I just want to be able to keep people safe.

Do you know Ezio, then?

One of those can be easily made here. There are plenty of miscellaneous supplies for things like that. If there is not already one here lying around--which I think there is, actually...somewhere--then I can procure a fine piece of wood and have one made for you. If you like to stop by the inventory in the high school tomorrow we can discuss the matter further.

[He stifles a laugh.] Ahehn--I would hope so. He is my son after all.

voice;

[identity profile] princelyrose.livejournal.com 2010-04-11 08:07 pm (UTC)(link)
Really? You can? [She's both surprised and elated.] Thank you so much. I'll see you tomorrow at the inventory.

He's... You're his father? [He had spoken about his father, how happy he was to see him, but that there were some complications about going back home.] He's nice.

voice;

[identity profile] betrayedblade.livejournal.com 2010-04-11 08:12 pm (UTC)(link)
You're quite welcome, signorina.

I am glad to hear that; a father always hopes to hear they have raised their child to proper heights.

I'm glad you two get to be together, even in a place like this. I think it'd be lonely here otherwise.

voice;

[identity profile] princelyrose.livejournal.com 2010-04-11 08:23 pm (UTC)(link)
[That's not the sort of tone she was expecting.]

...Giovanni?

voice;

Hmm?

It is nice to be with him here. Yes.
