[Giovanni seems more hesitant the longer Kadaj goes on, the more the kid's words sink in through his murky state of mind. His sanity might have snapped in two from watching his son die in his arms, but in the core of his being Giovanni was still an innately good man. Deep inside him there was still the protective guardian and the creed training that ruled him inside and out. There was still a bit of him that knew right from wrong, and this was idea leaning more towards the latter in Giovanni's heart.
