[The post starts with a twirling view of the sky, the ground, the sky again, the ground again, etc as the device bounces on the pavement. It just so happens to land mostly on its side, slightly tilting upwards as it leans against some debris behind it. The shot is perfect for catching a white-hooded man standing with a drawn sword in the distance. His robes are stained with black scuff marks and lots and lots of red blood.

Something has taken a beating, but it looks like it dealt out as much as it received. The Italian drops his form a second later and stands perfectly still, sword tip resting on the ground lazily. His body language depicts he doesn't seem to care about anything right now.

Indeed when he turns towards the communicator a minute later his expression is utterly blank. Its an eerie calm and cold expression with no emotion. Even his eyes reflect a dead golden hue. He walks calmly towards the device, his hand barely holding onto a sword many know he normally takes very good care of but now its practically being dragged across the ground in his limp grip.

He bends down and calmly picks up the communicator, and without even a second glance simply turns it off.]

[[Giovanni has hit rock bottom emotionally. He appears utterly calm and cold, dead even. But in reality he's insane from grief. Provoke him and he will snap. He's somewhere near the big baddie for any up for a commentlog. :3]]

[Giovanni counters after an effortless deflect, his eyes narrowed at the ease in which this is going. Kadaj isn't trying and he knows it. But he's still continuing.

He tries to block Kadaj and strike again.]

[Kadaj isn't going to try when he believes he would hurt Giovanni, or worse.

He quickly blocks and mirrors Giovanni's expression. Maybe if he shows him what he's capable of. He begins to attack him without pause.]

[Giovanni will die before he will give up. This was true at home, it hasn't changed while here. He does his best to deflect and dodge as many attacks as possible.]

[Kadaj keeps advancing at him until he can get past him, and begins running again.]

I'll hurt everyone you know!

[Giovanni stumbles as Kadaj presses forward and past. He grits his teeth and rights himself. Hearing Kadaj's proclamation enrages him.]

No!

[He gives chase once more.]

[The remnant twitches and nearly drops Souba. He's had it. Spinning on his heel, he lunges at Giovanni, blades aimed for his heart in a desperate attempt. He almost sounds as if he's pleading.]

Stop following me!

Not after this!

[He deflects and stumbles to one side, his momentum almost preventing him from doing that much. The tone of voice is lost on Giovanni in his current state, sadly.]

Please! Just GO!

[Kadaj walks closer and stops, before he shuts his eyes and blindly lunges at him again.]

[Giovanni easily dodges that one completely. He starts to counter--and comes up short.]

Not while you behave like this.

[He hesitates only a second longer, and then attacks.]

Don't patronize me when you feel the same way!

[He stops short, looking down at the new wound. Of course, a strange mist begins to encompass it in some twisted form of healing. Meanwhile, Kadaj attacks Giovanni.]

I would never--!

[He's taken aback by the show of unusual power. Giovanni had seen things here, but not everything. His focus is only lost for a second but that's enough to make him slip up. He winces in pain.]

[Kadaj laughs, almost childishly, and swings Souba at Giovanni again, hoping to corner him.]

[Giovanni dodges backwards and takes the defensive.]

[Kadaj jumps over him an tries hitting him in the head with the flat of his blade]

[Unfortunately for Giovanni, he tries to follow and instead of getting hit in the back of the head he's hit on the temple. A bit of blood trickles down the side of his face as he blinks--and, reaching out for purchase, falls as his world goes black.]
