betrayedblade[Giovanni's hand manages to turn on the video function through it's fumbling with the communicator as he reaches out for it. Not what he intended but it will have to do.
He looks like shit and feels worse. There are dark spots on his gloved hand from coughing up blood and his breath is coming in short gasps. He swallows and it takes him a while to actually finish the gesture thanks to cotton mouth. It doesn't look like he's moved in some time now, much less been able to fetch himself water to keep hydrated with.
He tries to sit up to address the communicator but collapses back down and gives up moving anymore altogether.]
...not s'well... [coughcough] not...apartm-- [coughHACKcoughcough] nngh... M' dispiace.
[He reaches out to the communicator, fumbling it a bit, and then getting a grip on it to pan the view. He's huddled up in an some anonymous warehouse near the docks. It was as far as it got on his way back home after chatting with Knowlton. He thought he was stopping to simply rest--he never got back up again.]
N-not... not sure how-- [He coughs some more, this time blood specks the corner of his mouth before he wipes it away with his glove.] long be safe 'ere. But--
