[This is for anyone who would know (family, Kadaj, Eald, Chloe?, anyone who would try to keep up with him) that by now he's been found and drug back to the hospital (by Kadaj) to get better. He's still horribly sick but there isn't much of a way for him to keep people away other than griping their ears out (when he isn't coughing out a lung) since he's bedridden. He is definitely upset that he cannot keep up with what is happening outside and being sick isn't fun so he's not in the best of moods, not even remotely. But if you want to bug him or update him on what is happening he'll receive you (not that he has a choice). He'd really like it if someone did that last suggestion.]

Well, at least you're still alive.
[ Eald'narche steps in, pushing the door closed behind him and daring to get a little bit closer. ]
You gave me quite a start, hiding like that. With all the madness that's cropped up, I was worried you wouldn't make it through whatever's been going on.

According to everyone around me I am too stubborn for such an easy way out.

[ He pauses for a moment, a far more serious expression falling upon his face before he continues. ]
You've heard about the problems outside, haven't you? About those people being kidnapped...
no subject
You try keeping up when you feel like you're dying.
What is going on?
no subject
Don't strain yourself, Giovanni.
[ Sigh...this isn't going to end well, is it. ]
Several people have been kidnapped, and the abductor is demanding a vaccine in exchange for their safe return. Well...relatively safe. According to my sources, he's the one that's been spreading this illness around, so you can thank him that you're in the shape you're in.
To make matters worse, I'm not sure any of us even have this vaccine, unless you count the scientists, and we all know how well they listen to us. I'd be heading out to rescue the hostages myself, but I have my hands full enough as it is here in the city without this mess going on.

I told him he could not get what he wanted done on his own. Why he did not have the sensibility to-- [He cuts himself off with a violent shake of the head. He is clearly upset but articulating his words isn't getting anything done.] And the retaliation? What are we doing in return?
no subject
I've tried tracking this man before my own complications arose. He's impossible to find without looking around the old-fashioned way, so I'm not sure he's even in the city borders. If he is, then he certainly is good at covering his tracks.

Somehow I doubt the scientists would be so forthcoming--despite how simplistic a solution that would be for all. Why they can't be reasonable human beings... [But then, neither were Templars. Gditall.] He must be found by other means then. There has to be someone capable and willing to do this. Why is this city so damnedably useless! Merda!
no subject
Calm down, Giovanni. I don't like it any more than you do, but cursing them will get us nowhere. I doubt the scientists are going to change their course of action on this, but this man will be found. From what I understand, he can't be too far. And besides, he isn't the only one in this city that's nearly impossible to track down.
If things change at Gohl, I'll be leaving and looking for him immediately, along with the others that are already doing so. If you ask me it's only a matter of time before he's found, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't hurry...
no subject
What is happening at Gohl?
no subject
Lockdown, like Prydain normally would do, until this mess is cleared up. I don't want anyone else kidnapped.
[ He's fortunate that the magicite absorbed that nervousness as well, otherwise this would go considerably worse. ]
no subject
What has become of Prydain.
no subject
[ Well, there's no masking it. All emotion leaves Eald's face and voice, and he faces Giovanni directly. ]
Gone. The scientists sent him back.
no subject
How unfortunate. [His voice is flat, hiding.] ...they always give what no one wants.
no subject
I know. I'll miss him too, you know. [ Or at least, he'd try to. ] And I'm not any happier with the scientists than anyone else. Given the chance, I'd be more than happy to dispose of them myself. The same with our little kidnapper.
[ No hint of remorse. There's the briefest sensation in the air, perhaps a bit of stray static electricity...but it leaves almost as quickly as it came. ]
But of course, that will all have to wait.
no subject
I cannot help this time; I am unfortunately stuck here with no way of preforming my duties, not accurately. It would not work out so well I think.
Someone else will have to do something.
no subject
[ He turns around, looking the other way. ]
I shouldn't stay here for long. I have things to take care of, and you need to recover.
no subject
[He closes his eyes; it's a dismissal if ever there was one.]
no subject
I will.
[ And just like that, he vanishes, not really bothering to use the door. ]
