[This is for anyone who would know (family, Kadaj, Eald, Chloe?, anyone who would try to keep up with him) that by now he's been found and drug back to the hospital (by Kadaj) to get better. He's still horribly sick but there isn't much of a way for him to keep people away other than griping their ears out (when he isn't coughing out a lung) since he's bedridden. He is definitely upset that he cannot keep up with what is happening outside and being sick isn't fun so he's not in the best of moods, not even remotely. But if you want to bug him or update him on what is happening he'll receive you (not that he has a choice). He'd really like it if someone did that last suggestion.]

[Giovanni sighed. The one time he would be useful in an emergency and he isn't capable of sneaking around like he's trained for. It was ridiculous and none-too-little aggravating.] It figures...

Somehow I doubt the scientists would be so forthcoming--despite how simplistic a solution that would be for all. Why they can't be reasonable human beings... [But then, neither were Templars. Gditall.] He must be found by other means then. There has to be someone capable and willing to do this. Why is this city so damnedably useless! Merda!

[ There's another wince and Eald'narche takes a cautious step back. ]

Calm down,
Giovanni. I don't like it any more than you do, but cursing them will get us nowhere. I doubt the scientists are going to change their course of action on this, but this man will be found. From what I understand, he can't be too far. And besides, he isn't the only one in this city that's nearly impossible to track down.

If things change at Gohl, I'll be leaving and looking for him immediately, along with the others that are already doing so. If you ask me it's only a matter of time before he's found, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't hurry...

[Giovanni, in his heated passion over the moment, began to cough uncontrollably before he could force it down. It lasted for a while but he waved off any unwanted aid or worry. (He was in no condition to tell that Eald's emotions were faked at the moment although normally he would have.) Eventually he calmed down.]

What is happening at Gohl?

[ This is where Eald pauses. Breaking this to Giovanni wasn't exactly going to be easy. At times like this he wished he had Kam'lanaut's charisma; these things would be much easier to deal with. He glances away. ]

Lockdown, like Prydain normally would do, until this mess is cleared up. I don't want anyone else kidnapped.

[ He's fortunate that the magicite absorbed that nervousness as well, otherwise this would go considerably worse. ]

[Giovanni is silent a moment; his eyes narrow suspiciously.]

What has become of Prydain.

[identity profile] crystal-eyed.livejournal.com 2010-09-11 04:19 am (UTC)(link)
...

[ Well, there's no masking it. All emotion leaves Eald's face and voice, and he faces Giovanni directly. ]

Gone. The scientists sent him back.

[Giovanni practically mimics Eald's expressionless when he hears the words he was dreading. Except for him it is possible to tell, just barely, that it is Giovanni's way of reacting because he is upset. Anger, jealously, resentment, and sadness flash through his eyes quickly before settling on nothing at all.]

How unfortunate. [His voice is flat, hiding.] ...they always give what no one wants.

[ Eald'narche was wary of whatever reaction he might receive, and had barely - just barely - kept whispering until he received a more outward response. But he DID pick up on something. Something very, very brief. Odd. Quickly retreating his mind, Eald'narche shook his head in response. ]

I know. I'll miss him too, you know. [ Or at least, he'd try to. ] And I'm not any happier with the scientists than anyone else. Given the chance, I'd be more than happy to dispose of them myself. The same with our little kidnapper.

[ No hint of remorse. There's the briefest sensation in the air, perhaps a bit of stray static electricity...but it leaves almost as quickly as it came. ]

But of course, that will all have to wait.

[Giovanni shifts slightly in place.]

I cannot help this time; I am unfortunately stuck here with no way of preforming my duties, not accurately. It would not work out so well I think.

Someone else will have to do something.

[identity profile] crystal-eyed.livejournal.com 2010-09-13 02:12 am (UTC)(link)
About our mischief-maker? I'm sure it will be taken care of, one way or another. After all, the scientists do care at least a sliver about their little lab rats...

[ He turns around, looking the other way. ]

I shouldn't stay here for long. I have things to take care of, and you need to recover.

[identity profile] betrayedblade.livejournal.com 2010-09-13 06:53 pm (UTC)(link)
See to it something gets done.

[He closes his eyes; it's a dismissal if ever there was one.]

[identity profile] crystal-eyed.livejournal.com 2010-09-13 08:18 pm (UTC)(link)
[ The dismissal doesn't go unnoticed. Eald'narche nods. ]

I will.

[ And just like that, he vanishes, not really bothering to use the door. ]
