The youth showed him about the city, showed him a place to stay that was safe, and quickly became his most useful friend. However, Riku did not stay here long after Giovanni arrived and is now unfortunately gone before he could return the debt of kindness for that first day. GONE. not_riku_thx|Prydain/Replica Riku--(friend and ally and adoptee and de facto leader) Giovanni has an odd relationship with Prydain. To begin with he first met him over the communicator by accident due half to his inexperience with the communicator device and completely to his mistake of thinking he was Riku in appearance. He quickly learned the truth of that. And now he is both a constant source of support and fatherly advice to the young Replica, and yet also his loyal and faithful follower. (Much like his relationship with il Magnifico Lorenzo de' Medici except more in the open.) Giovanni has taken it upon himself to look after Prydain and his "misfits" of Gohl as his own makeshift brood.

embracethewaves|Umi Ryuuzaki--(friend and ally) One of the "misfits" at Gohl. Umi is in Giovanni's mind the least misfit-like of the bunch. Umi is kind and cheerful, and Giovanni is glad that Gohl has her with them as a balance point to all the boys in the rowhouse. Though he has not known her for long yet he gets the feeling she is a bit of an older sisterly type, responsible and encouraging, towards the bunch. But he also has a feeling she fits in just fine with a more mischievous sided streak hidden beneath the surface, a show of her still yet youthful personage.

sing_nonomori|Yorda--(friend and ally and adoptee) Yorda is another one of those "misfits" associated with Gohl. She is probably the second least misfit-like of the bunch. Giovanni very much adores her as a sweet daughter, and is growing more and more protective of the innocent girl the longer he knows her. She is a wonder in both personality and origin, and a wonderful delight overall.

crystal_eyed|Eald'narche--(probably going to be a friend and ally, but a cautious one) Another addition of Gohl. He seems amicable enough, and bright, but given that Giovanni has seen two sides of his personality--if only briefly--the assassin is naturally inwardly wary towards. Outside, he is again just a father figure.

I believe there were actually one or two known "bad-guys" in the city by the time Giovanni left. Heck if I can remember their names/journals by now though, unfortunately. Edit: he would recognize Riful of the West (Claymore) as a potential problem. I remember that one.
