Freddo. E 'così molto freddo. Troppo freddo diritto di essere al di fuori adesso. Questa è follia.

[So cold and yet still he is outside. He didn't manage to catch the blizzard warning unfortunately. He's near the greenhouse, still keeping an eye out, and just generally doing the only thing he knows--watch over the people. Keep them safe if at all possible. And do good whenever possible.

But boy is it cold out.

He'll probably end up inside the greenhouse once the storm hits, and get stuck there for a day or two. Or, whatever. For now he's just quietly complaining to himself while huddled up in his whites and over-cloak.]

...very cold outside. I don't recommend...being out...right now. [One can almost hear his teeth chattering, but he's got more control than that.] This is foolish. Io sono uno stupido.

[[Cold. It is so very cold. Too cold to be outside right now. This is madness. / I am a fool.]]

[Text because what is Italian :(]

You should get inside! I wouldn't recommend being out either, sir. It's supposed to get worse.

Do you have some place to stay?

[Voice, and lol its my language, woman! I mean... er...]

[identity profile] betrayedblade.livejournal.com 2010-02-04 06:40 am (UTC)(link)
Why am I not surprised.

I have an apartment at Marshall.

[Voice, fff her canon has like... one language, maybe two |D]

[identity profile] lovelyscientist.livejournal.com 2010-02-04 06:48 am (UTC)(link)
A promise...? I don't know what you're doing, but... I don't think it would be a good idea to stay outside. It's supposed to snow. Ah... I mean snow more, than it has been, and...

I don't think either of us would like it if you acquired frostbite or died from hypothermia.

[Voice, I'd go with at least two though they never make a distinction, sadly]

[identity profile] betrayedblade.livejournal.com 2010-02-04 06:58 am (UTC)(link)
Watching.

...I could think of more preferable ways to die. However, other than my son I doubt anyone else would mind. [pause] More than reason enough to stop being foolish, but...

[Voice, pretty much]

[identity profile] lovelyscientist.livejournal.com 2010-02-04 07:02 am (UTC)(link)
I would mind. And your son especially so. Certainly more than enough reason.

[Voice]

[identity profile] betrayedblade.livejournal.com 2010-02-04 08:05 am (UTC)(link)
I never did let reason rule me. Not in...certain respects. If that had been true... I would have given up a long time ago. That...I cannot do...

[identity profile] sancta-sedes.livejournal.com 2010-02-04 08:38 am (UTC)(link)
M-maybe you should go back i-inside? I've n-never experienced these s-sorts of temperatures before.

[identity profile] betrayedblade.livejournal.com 2010-02-04 08:55 am (UTC)(link)
That would be the wisest course of action. [Not that he sounds as though he's going to actually do it.]

[identity profile] sancta-sedes.livejournal.com 2010-02-04 08:56 am (UTC)(link)
W-will you go back i-inside?

[identity profile] betrayedblade.livejournal.com 2010-02-04 08:59 am (UTC)(link)
Perhaps later. If I must.

[identity profile] sancta-sedes.livejournal.com 2010-02-04 09:08 am (UTC)(link)
If it's c-cold, p-please stay warm. [Or in other-words, please don't die.]

[identity profile] betrayedblade.livejournal.com 2010-02-04 09:35 am (UTC)(link)
I will do my best. I'll keep moving, that should help.

[identity profile] sancta-sedes.livejournal.com 2010-02-04 07:24 pm (UTC)(link)
I h-hope so.

[identity profile] not-riku-thx.livejournal.com 2010-02-04 10:43 pm (UTC)(link)
A week more of this....and maybe....maybe then it'll get better.

[identity profile] betrayedblade.livejournal.com 2010-02-04 10:45 pm (UTC)(link)
I hope so. Even if its just the cold that goes anyway... that would be better than nothing.

[identity profile] stfualtair.livejournal.com 2010-02-05 04:39 am (UTC)(link)
You should stay inside, Brother. It would be most unfortunate if you lost your blade arm to frostbite.

[see whut we did thar? :|a]

[identity profile] betrayedblade.livejournal.com 2010-02-05 05:12 am (UTC)(link)
...

[Made him feel guilty, yes. :\ ]

Yes, you are right of course.

[identity profile] stfualtair.livejournal.com 2010-02-05 05:22 am (UTC)(link)
It's for your own safety, Brother.

[Malik has weird ways of showing that he cares....]

[identity profile] betrayedblade.livejournal.com 2010-02-05 05:26 am (UTC)(link)
[By being a jerk. Duly noted.]

...I realize this, but I made a promise to keep them safe. My own safety matters little compared to my duty.

[identity profile] stfualtair.livejournal.com 2010-02-05 05:31 am (UTC)(link)
There are other ways of keeping whomever you're speaking of safe that doesn't involve you dying of something that can be preventable.

[We love you too, Gio.]

[identity profile] betrayedblade.livejournal.com 2010-02-05 05:41 am (UTC)(link)
I cannot watch over them stuck inside the apartment all day.

[He's descended from Altair; of course he has to put up a stubborn fight.]

[identity profile] stfualtair.livejournal.com 2010-02-05 05:59 am (UTC)(link)
[FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUU---]

Then take trips. An hour inside, an hour outside.

[identity profile] betrayedblade.livejournal.com 2010-02-05 06:06 am (UTC)(link)
That wouldn't do much for my acclimation. I'd simply make myself sick quicker with the abnormal fluctuation.

[identity profile] stfualtair.livejournal.com 2010-02-05 06:10 am (UTC)(link)
[ffff touche, Gio. You win.]

Fine. But don't come to me and expect me to heal you because I doubt you'll learn anything if I do....

Safety and Peace, Brother.

[identity profile] betrayedblade.livejournal.com 2010-02-05 06:20 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, moglie.

[identity profile] foxtamer.livejournal.com 2010-02-05 09:12 pm (UTC)(link)
If you just called yourself stupid, I'd have to agree. It's cold enough to suffer frostbite if you're not careful.
Edited 2010-02-05 21:13 (UTC)

[identity profile] foxtamer.livejournal.com 2010-02-06 01:59 am (UTC)(link)
Heh, all right. I think even some of my friends here with fur would have problems with this weather....

[identity profile] betrayedblade.livejournal.com 2010-02-06 04:28 am (UTC)(link)
[Some time noticeably later] ...I'll be in the greenhouse if anyone needs me.

[identity profile] foxtamer.livejournal.com 2010-02-06 04:35 am (UTC)(link)
[Minato sounds faintly relieved.]

Good. Stay warm, all right? I've still got some turtle friends to worry about.

[identity profile] betrayedblade.livejournal.com 2010-02-06 04:38 am (UTC)(link)
[And Giovanni curious and amused.]

Turtles?

[identity profile] foxtamer.livejournal.com 2010-02-06 04:41 am (UTC)(link)
[Minato laughs a bit.]

Teenage, even. There's a lot of people who have traits similar to animals, but walk and talk like humans. And well, they're reptiles, so they can't keep themselves warm... I've been worried about them. I think they're going to move into my apartment complex, so it should be better after then.

[identity profile] betrayedblade.livejournal.com 2010-02-06 05:03 am (UTC)(link)
I have met a few animal residents of intelligent mean, and even one with an...interesting...way of speech. But not any with a human-animal hybrid appearance. [slight pause] Reptiles... they like to lay in the sun... that is for heat then, I would guess. It never much occurred to me that the cold affected them any more than the rest. It will be good for your friends to get to the warmer enclosure.

[identity profile] foxtamer.livejournal.com 2010-02-06 05:22 am (UTC)(link)
Well, they don't look that human--they just walk and talk like them. ... Although some don't look like the animals they're closest to. One of my friends is a pink hedgehog, for instance. And interesting in what way? Wait.. was he a hawk, by any chance?

Yes, I'll be helping them get there as soon as they're ready. It's the same with Amphibians, like frogs or geckos, or even fish. They're "cold-blooded" because their hearts work a bit differently than ours, among other things.

[identity profile] betrayedblade.livejournal.com 2010-02-06 05:29 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, the hawk. He did not speak aloud.

Ah. I would not know much about that, nor ever gone about researching the like. Not exactly pertinent.

[identity profile] foxtamer.livejournal.com 2010-02-06 05:45 am (UTC)(link)
Ah! I'm glad he found you. You said you had some hawking experience, so I mentioned you.

Mmm, I only know because I have a summoning contract with toads and frogs. Some of them are stories tall, but.. the smaller ones are susceptible to the cold. You have to know when it's safe to ask for their help. And my sensei's friend--back when they were still friends--can summon snakes.

[identity profile] betrayedblade.livejournal.com 2010-02-06 05:48 am (UTC)(link)
I met him the day he arrived, I think, but have not spoken much to him since actually.

. . .

[Just...silence.]

[identity profile] foxtamer.livejournal.com 2010-02-06 05:52 am (UTC)(link)
It's too bad. He seems like a smart guy. And well adjusted, all things considering.

[Just... lots of laughter. Oh, he was expecting that reaction!] Yeah, it's pretty weird, huh? But it's saved my village and I more than once, and the toads I work with are great! And most can talk, but they look more like regular toads.

[identity profile] betrayedblade.livejournal.com 2010-02-06 05:57 am (UTC)(link)
My impression of him as well. It is a little hard to keep up with everyone all the time. Even with these devices.

That is...very strange from my point of view.

[identity profile] foxtamer.livejournal.com 2010-02-06 08:03 pm (UTC)(link)
That is true. Especially the more friends you make.

... Actually it's pretty strange from my view as well. Took some getting used to, that's for sure.
