[Giovanni doesn't seem to be paying attention to the device when it first comes on. It can be noted that instead of his usual white Assassin's garb he is wearing a brown doublet fashioned in a common 15th century style. The outfit is well tailored for the time though emphasizing Giovanni's status as a noble back home. It seems to be what he got from the random item appearance from the other day.

After a moment Giovanni turns to the device. Whatever he was attending to remains off-camera.]

...I suppose the phrase "never look a gift-horse in the mouth" is appropriate these days, no? Though as with everyone else it seems to invite more curiosity and questions concerning our 'generous hosts' than I would like to admit.

At least I have more to keep warm with now, I suppose.

Ezio...? [He pauses and then thinks better of whatever it was he was thinking of saying. He waves a hand dismissively in the air before reaching forward and shutting off the device.]

I've been here two years. Roxas a little longer, maybe two more months or so. Not many of us showed up before that, and most of them are gone now.

So this has at least been going on for a little over two years, possibly around three. How unsettling...

You would think we would be given a task to complete, perhaps as a way to go home; offer an award such as that and why would we not complete it when we have no other hope? They have seen to that. And yet... nothing. Does that make us nothing more than a game, and why?

Huh, it's amazing how vastly different clothes can look from one place to another. It does look warm, though.

I only got books. Two of sensei's books, at least.

Multiple layers, padding... definitely warmer if not entirely a proper winter wardrobe.

Books are nice. [He can appreciate the finer arts; I don't think Minato's "books" would be quite so readily accepted from him though.]

I at least came with my cloak. Although it isn't exactly made for winter--more decorative than anything. But still better than nothing!

My sensei--teacher, sorry--always wanted to be an author. It's good to see that he... succeeded. [Minato's still not sure what to think of them. At least the first one isn't porn?]
