[Giovanni doesn't seem to be paying attention to the device when it first comes on. It can be noted that instead of his usual white Assassin's garb he is wearing a brown doublet fashioned in a common 15th century style. The outfit is well tailored for the time though emphasizing Giovanni's status as a noble back home. It seems to be what he got from the random item appearance from the other day.

After a moment Giovanni turns to the device. Whatever he was attending to remains off-camera.]

...I suppose the phrase "never look a gift-horse in the mouth" is appropriate these days, no? Though as with everyone else it seems to invite more curiosity and questions concerning our 'generous hosts' than I would like to admit.

At least I have more to keep warm with now, I suppose.

Ezio...? [He pauses and then thinks better of whatever it was he was thinking of saying. He waves a hand dismissively in the air before reaching forward and shutting off the device.]

[[There is also a golden eagle flying on a red and white background--the Auditore sigil--on the main doorway inside the apartment. The banner was the second "gift." Ezio is free to notice this addition to the apartment decor.]]

It's not the first time they've dumped new stuff on us, from the outside worlds.

[Ezio has indeed noticed the new decor, the sight making him just a little bit homesick and all the more anxious to find a way back to his time. He still has his mother and sister to care for and the Templar to defeat after all. He meant to mention his appreciation of it but for now he is simply answering his father's call.]

Yes, father?

[Don't mind him, he's just... staring at your outfit.]

...

[This is the first time that she's ever seen clothes that looked like that before. Well... quite like that.]

Huh, it's amazing how vastly different clothes can look from one place to another. It does look warm, though.

I only got books. Two of sensei's books, at least.
